True-ish Tales

So, every once in a while the girl tries to take the cat for a walk. At least we were able to get the harness on her. I do call that progress!

When the girl has to go to the craft store for a school project, I am ready in a heart beat.

It’s a little unnerving to find small footprints on the door.

After picking them up from the movies, we stopped at the store where they went in together and came out with a huge jug of water giggling. They bought it because it was so cheap and they had enough money. They then proceeded to drink some of it and shoot a video for Instagram. It’s great to see memories being made.

Both my husband and I thought she said “we’re sitting five feet apart” instead of what she did say that was “we’re seeing five feet apart.’

It has begun. She is going to movies with friends instead of her parents. Sigh.

The day of her presentation, she dressed up and was super excited. She put together her whole outfit and seemed to really enjoy it. Definitely different from the norm of either blue jeans or shorts.

For school the girl had a yearlong project to research a topi and then present on it. Her topic was video games and mental health. We discussed how funny it would be if she cos-played as Waluigi like she did for PaxSouth, so then and there the next lunchbox comic idea was born.

Some days you know will just be incredibly long. If you wake up tired then that is good indication that you are about to experience one of those days.

One of my daughter’s friends had this dream that my daughter was going to toss her into the sun saying, “Nerf this!” Thinking that was way too funny and had to do a lunchbox comic.
