It’s a new school year and a new set of lunchbox comics! This year’s theme is the days of the week. Have you ever wondered where the names of the week came from?
Well now you will know! Monday is named after the Norse god Mani who guides the moon across the sky. He usually has a chariot but I thought a surfboard would be more fun.
Mani’s adventures will be chronicled every Monday.
It makes my eating habits seem like nothing. Just wish the scale agreed.
We all have to do our part.

It’s been a while since I’ve said such a faux pas out loud so I guess I was due. At least it gave the employee a little chuckle.

I love drawing food as cute characters and who doesn’t love tacos? I had originally wanted to do taco puns the whole year but quickly ran out of ideas. Now Taco Tuesday is more joke-centered.
Not sure which meme I was going for here. I think it had to do more with the text than the picture. It is definitely a bummer getting through Mondays.
I have realized that I have totally neglected Lunchbox Comics this school year. So good news, there is a backlog of comics.

Although Fun Fact Friday is mostly either a true fact or a fact so obvious it really doesn’t need to be said. There won’t be as many of those since there is usually not any comic to go with it.
